Case Study - My Time
My Time is a Community Interest Company who offers award-winning community-based support to both men and women in the Small Heath region of Birmingham. The company's psychological support services aim to help people from repressed groups or minority backgrounds to deal with issues such as social exclusion and low self-esteem. A key challenge has always been concerned with how they could offer as much support as possible on a limited budget when confronted with a backdrop of serious social issues.
MY Time sought support from VC Consulting on a number of occasions where the VC team helped them expand their services into new areas, including corporate clients and educational establishments. One of the key aims of VC Consulting's involvement with My Time has been to improve their overall sustainability, allowing them to increase revenue and move away from grant-funded support.
