Lawrence Hoare - Senior Consultant - Bsc, Msc, CEng, MBA, MIMMM, ACIM
Lawrence combines a comprehensive professional and academic understanding of engineering with core business and marketing skills. His unique background gives him insight into the specific needs of engineering consultancy firms, which has been born out in his work at VC Consulting.
Lawrence has ten years experience working for an engineering services firm. He then completed an MBA course at Aston Business School and moved into professional services marketing, spending one year with a law firm and undertaking a work placement at Price Waterhouse Coopers. Since establishing VC Consulting, Lawrence has worked with over 500 SME businesses, specialising in marketing and financial consultancy.
Shihab Hossain - Senior Consultant - BSc, MBA
Shihab has an extensive knowledge of business and marketing consultancy, having completed an MBA at Aston Business School and subsequently worked with numerous professional services clients. Before VC Consulting, Shihab worked in the pharmaceutical and chemical industries in a variety of marketing and business roles.
Shihab is heavily involved in the third sector, having worked closely with a number of Not for Profit organisations and currently sitting as a board member for The Lench's Trust, Moseley and District Churches Housing Association and The Institute of Asian Business.
